Course Description:​
Avoid Code Blue will cover information on how to recognize the onset of a medical emergency and how to manage the situation. Since these skills are not used every day, reviewing this critical information could save a patient's life. Discussing common dental medical emergencies and how to treat them will be covered in this course, emphasizing the importance of an accurate, updated health history to help identify risks and prepare for a medical emergency.

Course Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course the participant will be able to:

Identify common dental medical emergencies.

Illustrate risk factors to prevent possible medical emergencies.

Develop protocol to manage dental medical emergencies.
Meetings
SFDHS holds monthly board meetings or conference calls on the third Thursday of the month.
